Goal Setting

Problems are opportunities waiting for solutions. You are on step 280 of your CEO journey.

Today you will explore Goal Setting and finish with one action you can use in real life.

Simple explanation

• Goal Setting helps you move a group toward a shared goal with clarity and kindness.
• A strong first move is to state the goal, invite ideas, choose responsibilities, and agree on the next check-in.
• You are looking for everyone knows what happens next and who owns each task, not a perfect answer on the first try.

Real-world example

When a three-person snack stand falls behind, Eli calmly assigns shopping, signs, and sales roles, then asks each teammate what support they need.

Vocabulary

Leadership: helping people work together toward a worthwhile goal.
Responsibility: a task someone agrees to own and complete.
Decision: a choice made after considering useful information.
