Mindfulness — Part 3

Your idea is growing! You are on step 266 of your CEO journey.

Today you will explore Mindfulness and finish with one action you can use in real life.

Simple explanation

• Mindfulness helps you notice what your mind and body need, then choose a safe next step.
• A strong first move is to pause, name what you notice, and choose one coping tool or trusted person.
• You are looking for a small change in your body, thoughts, or ability to continue, not a perfect answer on the first try.

Real-world example

Before presenting, Sam notices a fast heartbeat, names the feeling as worry, takes five slow breaths, and asks a teacher to practice once together.

Vocabulary

Signal: information your feelings or body may be sending you.
Coping tool: a safe action that helps you handle a difficult moment.
Trusted adult: a safe grown-up who listens and helps you get support.
